Lizzie Kaniecki
Lizzie Kaniecki is a Chicago-based standup and musical comedian, originally from West Virginia. She fell in love with improv comedy at the University of Pittsburgh and moved to Chicago immediately after graduation. Since then, she has trained at the Second City, Annoyance Theater, Logan Square Improv, and the Old Town School of Folk Music.
She has also been featured in the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival, Ha Ha Harvest Comedy Festival, Out Loud Comedy Festival, Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, Manitou Springs Comedy Festival, Bend Comedy Film Festival, Chicago Sketchfest, Next in Line Philadelphia, Hoopla! Improv London, Zanies, The Laugh Factory, Don't Tell Comedy, and has opened for headlining acts like SNL's Luke Null. She has been influenced by artists like Rachel Bloom, Bo Burnham, Jess McKenna and Zach Reino.
She is currently developing her debut musical My Neighbor’s Got a Pool in the Incubator program through Pocket Theatrics and Theatre Lacadie. You can find her song “Dumb Lesbian” streaming wherever you get your music. Lizzie co-hosts Sunday Best at the Lincoln Lodge Theater on Sundays at 7:30.
